Nerojbleo is a fullbodied and fruity red wine made from 100% of Nero d’avola grapes. The grapes are grown in Chiaramonte, a bit north from Ragusa, on fields approx. 420 meters above the sea. The winters are mild and summers dry, which is advantageous for the ripening of the grapes. The grapes are harvested in late September and are then macerated with their skins. After the fermentation, the wine is put into barrels and aged for at least one year before the wine is bottled.
