Barbaresco wines are made of Nebbiolo grapes and is one of the best and most prestigious Italian redwines. The Manera vini – Barbaresco – Red wine is made of grapes grown on only 0.8 hectares of land around the small town of Barbaresco, outside Alba. The wine is made according to the classic method with the grapes subjected to light crushing and destemming with alcoholic fermentation in thermo-conditioned steel tanks for about 8/10 days. The wine is stored for 12 months in 10hl barrels, then 12 months in second passage barriques and finally one year in the bottle.
