Langhe Arneis is the name of the wine made from Arneis grapes, within the geographic region of Langhe in Piedmont. Arneis is a fruity, aromatic white wine, which is often called the “white Barolo”. The wine is produced according to the classic method with the grapes subjected to light crushing and destemming with alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks for about 25 days at 15°-17°C to preserve freshness and aromas. The wine is then stored for 2 months in stainless steel on its lees and 1 month in the bottle.
