Tenute Tondini – Katala – Vermentino di Galluria Superiore – White wine was produced for the first time in 2013 in San Leonardo, Calangianus in Sardinia. The wine is made from Vermentino grapes harvested at the end of September from a specially selected part of our oldest vine plantations dating back to 1989. This part of the vineyard has since been entirely dedicated to the production of this special wine. Vinification takes place through six days of fermentative skin maceration, followed by aging in stainless steel tanks under temperature control. It is the last harvested Vermentino grapes that give KATALA its deep straw yellow color with subtle golden hues.
