Delas’ red Hermitage, Domaine des Tourettes, is made from 100% Syrah. An exclusive cuvée with a mix of three terroirs: L’Ermite, Le Sabot and the prestigeous Bessards. A silky taste with complex aromas of black berries, spices and leather.

Delas’ red Hermitage -Domaine des Tourettes – is made from 100% Syrah grapes harvested manually, terroir by terroir at optimum maturity. Vinification is done according to traditional method in open concrete tanks after two days of cool maceration. The fermentation is then started at controlled temperature between 28 and 30 ° C. Depression of the superficial “hat” (Pigeages) and pumping of the must on the hat (remontage) is done daily for ten days. The total duration of the vinification can reach 20 days. After press, the malolactic fermentation is carried out in oak barrels. The wine is stored in oak barrels. The toasted character is the result of a precise dosing between wine stored in new and old barrels. This dosage is adjusted to each vintage depending on the nature of the vintage wine.
