Presentation vineyard

<p>The Lartigue family has been settled in Listrac and Moulis for more than six generations. Bernard Lartigue created Château Mayne Lalande in 1982 and today it covers 15 hectares of land in the western part of the appellation. The estate also includes 5 hectares from Château Myon de l'enclos. The central part of the property is located in a place called "Mayne de la lands" which means "the border", or in the "outskirts of the wilderness" and this is where the family lives since 150 years. In the true "Medoc" spirit, Bernard has continued to safeguard the family's heritage. Perfectionism and accuracy is Bernard Lartigue's motto in a constant quest for excellence. The goal is to take advantage of the terroir's potential for developing a great wine with the possibility of long storage.</p>

Sommelier's advice

<p>A purple violet color. The nose has hints of candied fruit and cloves. With the aeration, aromas of red berries develop as black currants. The palate attack is fruity and generous. The wine has density and structure as well as well integrated tannins that are in good harmony with the acidity. A juicy and delicious red wine with excellent storage potential to pair with a fried duck.</p>

Château Mayne Lalande is made from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. The harvest is done manually and mechanically in late September and early October. The grapes macerate at 8 ° temperature for 12 days before fermentation which takes 25 days. The storage is done in new oak barrels for 12-14 months.
