Presentation vineyard

Cantine SanSteva is a young family-owned producer in Santo Stefano al Mare, with roots in the Risso family's olive groves that started in the 1970s. The wine business took shape in 2016, when the family began planting new vineyards on land that had been largely abandoned. Today, they cultivate around 7 hectares of wine and work with classic Ligurian grapes such as Pigato, Vermentino, Granaccia and Moscatello di Taggia. A special place is given to Moscatello di Taggia, an old local grape variety that the family is committed to reviving and preserving. With the coastal sea breeze, terraced vineyards and respect for the Ligurian landscape, SanSteva creates modern wines with a clear local identity.

A light straw yellow color. Intense and expressive aroma with hints of flowers and fruit. On the palate, the wine has a fine fullness, fresh acidity and clear minerality. Suitable for fish dishes and classic Ligurian cuisine.

Cantine Sansteva – Pigato – White wine made from 100% Pigato. The harvest is done manually in small hills, in mid-September. The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed. The wine then ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Aged for 6 months in steel tanks and then 2 months in bottle before launch.
