Presentation vineyard

Giovanni Soloperto crée le vignoble familial en 1969. Il commence à produire du vin en bouteille cinq ans avant que le Primitivo di Manduria reçoit son statut d'appellation DOC en 1974. Il écrit alors sur les bouteilles "Un vin délicieux pour tout le repas». Depuis ce temps, les vins Primitivo des Pouilles sont devenu mondialement connus. Soloperto est situé à Manduria, du côté intérieur du talon de la botte italienne, au nord de la mer Ionienne. Le vignoble se situe sur les meilleures zones à Manduria. Les vignes sont taillées en arbre selon le style <em>Alberello,</em> typique du sud d'Italie et les raisins sont cueillis à la main. Les vignes de Bagnolo ont dans certains cas plus de 100 ans et atteignent jusqu'à 2,5 m de hauteur. A Spina et Schiavoni, les vigne de Primitivo atteignent 40 ans d'âge. Aujourd'hui, ce sont la fille et le fils de Giovanni - Sabrina et Ernesto qui ont repris la responsabilité du domaine.

Sommelier's advice

Une couleur rouge rubis profond. Le nez rappelle des notes de cerises, d'amandes amères, de prunes noires mûries au soleil et de baies rouges. L'attaque est fruitée et ample. Les tanins sont souples et la finale est d'une agréable fraîcheur. Un vin fruité qui peut être servi avec des plats de pâtes, avec des repas légers, de préférence froids, mais qui peut également être servi avec de divers plats de viande.

Primitivo di Manduria de Soloperto composé de 100% de raisins cultivés dans Primitivo Manduria et ses environs. Les vignes sont âgées de 20-25 ans et sont coupés par le Albarello-style italien typique du sud. La récolte a lieu au début de Septembre et le vin produit par la technologie traditionnelle. Le stockage a lieu dans des cuves en acier.

Presentation vineyard

Giovanni Soloperto started the family winery in 1969 and began producing bottled wine already five years before the Primitivo di Manduria obtained the DOC status. "A tasteful wine for the whole meal' he wrote on the bottles. Since then, the Primitivo wines from Apulia have become world famous. Soloperto is located in Manduria, at the inner side of the Italian foot heel, north of the Ionian Sea. The vineyards of the winery are exposed on the better areas of Manduria. The vines are cut, for the southern Italy very typical Alberello style and the grapes are picked by hand. The vines in Bagnolo are in some cases more than 100 years old, reaching up to 2.5m height. In Spina and Schiavoni on the other hand, the Primitivo vines reaches 40 years of age. Today it is Giovanni's daughter Sabrina and son Ernesto, who have taken over the responsibility of the vineyard.

Sommelier's advice

A deep ruby red color. The aroma carries hints of cherry and bitter almonds, ripe dark plums and red berries. The palate attack is fruity and semi full bodied. The tannins are soft and the finale has a pleasant freshness. A half-bodied wine that can be drunk to pasta dishes, lighter meals but can also be served together with various meat dishes.

Primitivo di Manduria from Soloperto is made from 100% Primitivo grapes, grown in Manduria and its neighbourhood. The vines are 20-25 years old and are cut in the typical southern Italian Albarello-style. The harvest takes place in early September and the wine is produced by traditional technology. The storage takes place in steel tanks.

Sedan dess har Primitivo-vinerna från Apulien blivit världsberömda. Soloperto ligger i Manduria, vid inre sidan av den italienska fotklacken, norr om det joniska havet. Vingården har sina ägor på de bättre områdena i Manduria. Vinrankorna klipps efter den typiskt syditalienska Alberello-stilen och druvorna plockas för hand. I Bagnolo är vinrankorna i vissa fall mer än 100 år gamla och når upp till 2.5m höjd. I Spina och Schiavoni når Primitivorankorna 40 års ålder. Idag är det Giovannis dotter Sabrina och sonen Ernesto som tagit över ansvaret på vingården.

Sommelier's advice

En djup rubinröd färg. Doften bär inslag av körsbär, bittermandel, solmogna mörka plommon och röda bär. Smakattacken är fruktig och halvfyllig. Tanninerna är mjuka och finalen har en angenäm fräschör. Ett halvfylligt vin som kan drickas till pastarätter, till lättare, gärna kalla måltider men som klarar bra att också servaras till diverse kötträtter.
