Presentation vineyard

Moët & Chandon a été fondé en 1743 par le négociant en vins M. Claude Moët. Le domaine porte le nom de Moët jusqu'en 1833, lorsque le gendre de Jean-Rémy Moët, Pierre-Gabriel Chandon, prend les rênes pour accélérer l'expansion de l'entreprise dans le monde. Dans les années 60 et 70, Ruinart (la plus ancienne maison de champagne au monde) et Mercier sont rachetées et en 1971, la marque de vêtements de luxe Dior est également acquis. L'expansion se poursuit par la fusion avec le cognac Hennessy et le groupe LVMH est créé en 1987 lorsque Louis Vuitton fusionne avec Moët Hennessy. Aujourd'hui, Moët & Chandon est l'un des champagnes les plus célèbres au monde et LVMH est devenu la plus grande entreprise de luxe au monde.

Sommelier's advice

Robe jaune doré aux reflets verdâtres. Les bulles sont petites et élégantes. Le nez a des notes de fruits blancs comme la pomme, la poire et la pêche blanche, mais aussi de citron. Quelques arômes de fleurs blanches, de pain frais et de noix fraîches. Le palais est rond et fruité avec des notes de pommes vertes et de poires.

La cuvée Brut Impérial de Moët & Chandon est élaboré à partir de vins provenant de plus de 200 parcelles différents. Le vin est composé de 30-40% de Pinot noir, 30-40% de Pinot Meunier et 20-30% de Chardonnay. 20 à 30% du vin est composé de “Vin de réserve” ou de vins de millésimes précédents.

Presentation vineyard

Moët & Chandon was created by the wine merchant Claude Moët already back in 1743. The winery was named Moët until 1833 when Jean-Rémy Moet's step-son, Pierre-Gabriel Chandon, took over the reins to speed up the expansion around the world. In the 60s and 70s, Ruinart (the world's oldest champagne) and Mercier was acquired and in 1971, also the exclusive fashion brand Dior was bought. The expansion continued with a merger with Hennessy cognac and the group LVMH was created in 1987 when Louis Vuitton merged with Moet Hennessy. Today, Moet & Chandon is one of the world's most famous champagnes and LVMH has developed into the world's largest luxury company.

Sommelier's advice

Golden yellow color with greenish hues. The bubbles are small and elegant. The aroma has hints of white fruits such as apple, pear and white peach, but also of lemon. Some notes of white flowers, freshly baked bread and fresh walnuts. The taste is round and fruity with hints of green apples and pears.

Presentation vineyard

Moët & Chandon skapades av vinhandlaren Claude Moët redan 1743. Sommelier's advice

Gyllengul färg med grönaktiga nyanser. Bubblorna är små och eleganta. Doften har inslag av vit frukt såsom äpple, päron och vit persika, men också av citron. Vissa toner av vita blommor, av nybakat bröd samt färska valnötter. Smaken är rund och fruktig med inslag av gröna äpplen och päron.
