Patriarca from Soloperto is made from 100% Primitivo grapes grown in Manduria and its neighbourhood. The vines are 45-50 years old and are cut in the typical southern Italian Albarello-style. The harvest takes place in September. The wine is produced according to the traditional technique and is then stored in oak barrels for 9 months before being bottled.
