Il Frappato is made from Frappato grapes grown at 220 meters above sea level. The farming is carried out according to biodynamic methods and the wine has organic certification. No chemical pesticides are used. The grapes are harvested in early October and allowed to ferment in cement tanks with natural yeast, the maceration takes 25 days with the skins. The wine is then aged in cement tanks and partly in 30 HL Austrian oak barrels for 14 months.
