Grés de Montpellier from Château de l’Engarran is an aromatic red wine, mainly with fruity elements of cherry, plum and raspberries, but also of menthol. A red wine with style and generosity to serve to grilled meat, a risotto or a lamb casserole.

 

Château de l’Engarran – Grés de Montpellier – Red wine is made from 67% Syrah, 23% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre. The wine is produced by classical method per grape variety. It’s stirred regularly during the fermentation (pigeage and délestage). Each grape variety is stored for 2 years to round the tannins, 40% of the finalized wine is stored on oak barrels for 15 months.
