Champagne Deutz – Rosé Sakura Brut is a rosé Champagne “Limited Edition”. The word “Sakura” refers to the Japanese cherry tree and its beautiful pink flowers. To celebrate spring, Maison Deutz has created this limited edition of its Brut Rosé. The wine is made from approximately 90% Pinot noir grapes grown on the Montage de Reims and the rest is Chardonnay. The beautiful pink color is achieved by adding approximately 8% Pinot noir red wine from “Vieilles vignes” grape vines located on a smaller area near Aÿ, called “Meurtet”. The finished wine is aged for 3 years on its lees to mature and merge into its final elegant structure.
