Cantina del Vermentino Monto – Funtanaliras – White wine made from 100% Vermentino grapes from vineyards around Monti, at an altitude of 300-450 meters and soils of weathered granite. The grapes are gently pressed and the must is allowed to ferment in stainless steel tanks under carefully controlled temperatures. The wine is then aged for a few months in steel tanks to preserve the freshness, fruitiness and mineral character of the grape. The wine is then left to mature for another time in bottle before being released. The result is a fresh and elegant Vermentino with citrus and floral notes, hints of tropical fruit and a clear mineral saltiness.
