Presentation of the vineyard

Camille Cayran is a wine cooperative in Cairanne representing 80 small winegrowers since more than 80 years. The wines produced, include several of the major appellations in southern Côtes-du-Rhône, such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Cairanne. Tradition is an important concept and the goal is as most as possible to respect the fundamental values, which means as a wine grower to act like a "gardener of his treasure" Most of the production is organic.

Sommelier's advice

A deep but clear elegant color. The aroma is fruity with hints of red berries, spices and southern French scrubland (garrigue). The taste is fruity and smooth with good length. A structure with tannins which allows some storage. To serve to the grill, an omelette, for butchers' or a pizza.
