Presentation of the vineyard

Camille Cayran is a wine cooperative in Cairanne representing 80 small winegrowers since more than 80 years. The wines produced, include several of the major appellations in southern Côtes-du-Rhône, such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Cairanne. Tradition is an important concept and the goal is as most as possible to respect the fundamental values, which means as a wine grower to act like a "gardener of his treasure" Most of the production is organic.

Sommelier's advice

The color is deep ruby ??red with violet hues. The nose is dominated by red berries, mainly strawberries, raspberries and red currants, which develop in some complex expressions with the aeration in the glass. The tannins are young but provide a smooth mouth feel. A final dominated by cherries and spices. To pair with most dishes, preferably with Provencal touches such as lamb with rosemary and thyme.
