Presentation vineyard

À la fin de 1896, après avoir réalisé une tournée de vin en France, Marcel Ott, un jeune ingénieur agricole alsacien, vint en Provence. La Provence avec la Méditerranée juste à côté et c'est ici qu'il est resté. Ici, la culture du vin a une longue histoire originaire de la Grèce antique. Malheureusement, le phylloxéra avait provoqué une catastrophe dans le vignoble peu de temps avant l'arrivée de Marcel Ott. La terre est devenue moins chère, mais le vignoble devait être complètement replanté. Marcel Ott acquiert plusieurs vignobles et entreprend de les restaurer avec l'ambition de créer de bons vins en Provence à partir de cépages nobles. Aujourd'hui, 120 ans plus tard, ce sont les cousins ??Christian et Jean-François qui sont responsables du patrimoine familial. Depuis 2004, les Domaines Ott font partie de la maison de vin Louis Roederer.

Sommelier's advice

Une couleur rose pâle avec des nuances dorées et orange. Le nez a des notes aromatiques d'agrumes et de fleurs blanches. L'attaque en bouche est fraîche et vive avec des notes de pamplemousse rose, de fruit charnu et lorsque le vin s'ouvre avec l'aération, de gâteau aux fruits. La finale est longue et complexe.

Domaines Ott – Château Romassan – Bandol – Rosé est composé principalement de Mourvèdre pour la structure et la capacité de vieillissement, mais aussi de Grenache qui donne des notes vineuses, de Cinsault qui contribue à la légèrté et finesse et de Syrah pour une rondeur fruitée.

Presentation vineyard

At the end of 1896, after touring in the whole of France, Marcel Ott, a young Alsatian agricultural engineer, arrived in Provence. Provence with its Mediterranean sea right next door and this is where he settled. Here, the wine culture has a long history dating back to ancient Greece. Unfortunately, the phylloxera had caused a disaster in the vineyard shortly before Marcel Ott arrived. Due to that, the land became cheaper, but the vineyard needed to be replanted completely. Marcel Ott acquires several vineyards and undertakes to restore them with the ambition of creating good wines in Provence from noble grape varieties. Today, 120 years later, the cousins Christian and Jean-François are responsible for the family heritage. Since 2004, Domaines Ott has been part of the Louis Roederer winery.

Sommelier's advice

A pale pink color with golden and orange hues. The nose has hints of citrus and white flowers. The palate has a lively fresh attack with hints of pink grapefruit, "fleshy fruit" and when the wine opens with aeration, of fruit cake. The final is long and complex.

Domaines Ott – Château Romassan – Bandol – Rosé wine is produced mainly from Mourvèdre grapes for structure and aging capacity, but also from Grenache which gives winey notes and Cinsault which contributes with ease and Syrah for a fruity, round palate.

Sommelier's advice

En blekrosa färg med gyllene och orangeaktiga nyanser. Doften har inslag av citrus och vita blommor. Smaken har en livlig fräsch attack med inslag av rosa grapefrukt, "köttig frukt" och när vinet öppnar sig med luftning, av frukt tårta. Finalen är lång och komplex
