Presentation vineyard

Domaine Ska sträcker sig över 9 hektars mark i Quincié-en-Beaujolais, mer bestämt i hjärtat av appellationerna Beaujolais, Beaujolais-Villages, Brouilly och Morgon. Vinrankorna, i genomsnitt 55 år gamla och drar nytta av en idealisk exponering. Jordmånen består huvudsakligen av blå stenar och kisel- och schisthaltig vulkanjord som ger Gamay-druvan en rik palett av uttryck. Vingården hette tidigare Domaine Coteaux des Oliviers, uppkallad efter familjen Olivier och skapades redan år1451.

Sommelier's advice

En hallonröd lysande röd färg. Doften har fruktiga inslag av hallon och körsbär samt en blommig doft av svartvinbärsknoppar. Smaken är frisk och fruktig med viss köttig karaktär, friska och fräscha tanniner. Att servera lätt nedkyld till kycklingrätter, charkuterier, pizza eller till diverse fiskrätter.

Domaines SKA Beaujolais Villages framställs av 100 % Gamay-druvor. Druvorna plockas för hand och allt arbete i vingården görs manuellt. Vinet framställs enligt klassisk metod och lagras på ståltank. Vinet har certifieringen “High Environmental Value” vilket vittnar om ett engagemang för miljövänliga metoder.

Presentation vineyard

Domaine Ska extends over 9 hectares of land in Quincié-en-Beaujolais, in the heart of the Beaujolais, Beaujolais-Villages, Brouilly and Morgon appellations. The vines, on average 55 years old, benefit from an ideal exposure. The soil consists mainly of blue stones, siliceous and schist volcanic soil which gives the Gamay grape a rich palette of expression. The vineyard was previously called Domaine Coteaux des Oliviers, named after the Olivier family and was created as early as 1451.

Sommelier's advice

A raspberry red brilliant red color. The nose has fruity hints of raspberry and cherry as well as a floral scent of blackcurrant buds. The palate is fresh and fruity with a certain meaty character, fresh tannins. To pair lightly chilled with chicken dishes, cured meat, pizza or with various fish dishes.
