Familjen GROS har producerat vin i Bourgogne sedan 10 generationer tillbaka. Domaine Gros Ch. & Fils skapades genom en hopslagning av André GROS och Renée FAIVELEY. Familjen GROS kommer ursprungligen från Ladoix-Serrigny i Côte de Beaune och har varit vinodlare i byn Buisson sedan 1700-talet. Familjen FAIVELEY kommer ursprungligen från Premeaux-Prissey i Côte de Nuits och har likaså varit vinodlare sedan tidigt 1700-tal. Sedan 2018 har Christian GROS 2 söner, Julien och Nicolas, fortsatt att förvalta egendomen. Julien tar hand om vintillverkning medan Nicolas tar hand om vinodlingen. Egendomen har en yta på 11,50 hektar med odlingar som sträcker sig över flera anrika appellationer från Nuits-Saint-Georges till Aloxe-Corton. Vingårdens källare ligger i staden Prémeaux-Prissey.

Sommelier's advice

En djupröd färg med rubinröda nyanser. Intensiva aromer av friska och krispiga röda frukter. Smaken är både fruktig och blommig, förstärkt av toner av pioner. Avslutningen är lätt toastad med subtila rostade toner från eklagring. Att servera till en coq au vin, till poscherade ägg Meurette, eller diverse vilträtter.

Skörden görs manuellt. Efter en klassisk vinifiering lagras vinet 12 till 14 månader på 228 liters fat (50 % nya fat och 50 % fat som är ett till tre år gamla).

Presentation vineyard

The GROS family has been producing wine in Burgundy for 10 generations. Domaine Gros Ch. & Fils was created from the fusion of André GROS and Renée FAIVELEY. The GROS family originally comes from Ladoix-Serrigny in the Côte de Beaune and has been winegrowers in the village of Buisson since the 18th century. The FAIVELEY family originally comes from Premeaux-Prissey in the Côte de Nuits and has also been winegrowers since the early 18th century. Since 2018, Christian GROS's 2 sons, Julien and Nicolas, have continued to manage the property. Julien takes care of winemaking while Nicolas takes care of the vineyard. The property covers an area of 11.50 hectares with plantations spanning several ancient appellations from Nuits-Saint-Georges to Aloxe-Corton. The winery's cellar is located in the town of Prémeaux-Prissey.

Sommelier's advice

A deep red color with ruby red hues. Intense aromas of fresh and crisp red fruits. The palate is both fruity and floral, enhanced by notes of peonies. The finish is lightly toasted with subtle toasted notes from oak aging. To pair with a coq au vin, with poached eggs Meurette, or various game dishes.

Domaine Gros Ch. & fils – Côte de Nuits Villages – Les Vignottes is produced from 100% Pinot noir grown in Premeaux-Prissey, between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Ladoix, over 0.56 hectares of land. Harvesting is done manually. After a classic vinification, the wine is aged for 12 to 14 months in 228 liter barrels (50% new barrels and 50% barrels that are one to three years old).

La propriété s'étend sur une superficie de 11,50 hectares avec des plantations réparties sur plusieurs appellations de Nuits-Saint-Georges à Aloxe-Corton. La cave du domaine est située sur la commune de Prémeaux-Prissey.

Sommelier's advice

Une robe rouge profond aux reflets rouge rubis. Arômes intenses de fruits rouges frais et croquants. Le palais est à la fois fruité et floral, rehaussé par des notes de pivoines. La finale est légèrement toastée avec de subtiles notes grillées issues de l'élevage en fûts de chêne. A servir avec un coq au vin, des œufs pochés Meurette, ou divers plats de gibiers.
