“L’Exception” Rosé is a rosé wine made from Merlot and Caladoc grapes. It has been aged in oak barrels and can be served as an alternative to an elegant white wine, or to some extent, also to a red wine. An uncomparable hit!
Château Thuerry – L’Exception Rosé wine is produced from Merlot, and Caladoc grapes. The harvest is done by hand and the grapes are then sorted out. The grapes are let to macerate with the skin for 20 h (“Saignée” method) before removing the skins from the juice. The wine is fermented and then stored 7 months in French and American oak barrels. The lees are stirred (batonage) regularly.
