Presentation vineyard

Château de Beaupré est situé à St Cannat, au nord d'Aix-en-Provence. Le beau bâtiment principal typiquement provençal a été érigé en 1739. La propriété est détenue par la famille Double, c'est la 4ème génération de vignerons. La famille Double est à l'origine une famille d'armateur de Marseille et le Château de Beaupré été au XIXème siècle un lieu de villégiature pour la famille Double qui, de Marseille passait de ce domaine à leur autre propriété dans le Luberon. Aujourd'hui sont produits, rouge, blanc et rosé. Les vins sont organiquement cultivés et le Château Beaupré est le fournisseur officiel du Palais présidentiel de l'Elysée où les vins sont servis pour des réceptions.

Sommelier's advice

Un rose saumon vif et lumineux. L'arôme est fruité avec des notes de tutti frutti. Le goût est plein, rond, principalement sur des notes de petits fruits rouges. Un rosé de Provence bien fait à servir en apéritif, sur des plats exotiques ou une cuisine méditerranéenne.

La cave est entièrement gérée sans produitschimiques ni pesticides. Les raisins sont récoltés à parfaite maturité et fermentés en thermo température régulée. Le vin final est produit en mélangeant différentes cuvées de saignée et selon la méthode de vin pressé.

Presentation vineyard

Château de Beaupré is located in St Cannat just north of the town of Aix-en-Provence in southern France. The beautiful, very typical Provençal main building was erected already in 1739. The property is owned by the Double family who bought the property already in 1854 and it is now the 4th generation that produces the wine. The Double family is originally a shipowner family from Marseille and Château Beaupré was used in the 19th century as a resting place when the family went from Marseille to their second estate in Luberon with horse and cart. Today, red, white and rosé wines are produced. The wines are organically grown and Château Beaupré is today official supplier to the French Presidential Elysee Palace, where the wines are served at receptions.

Sommelier's advice

A bright light salmon pink color. The nose is fruity with a touch of tutti-frutti. The palate is rich, round and soft but with pleasant acidity, aromas mainly of red small berries. A well-made rosé wine from Provence to serve as an aperitifs, pair with exotic dishes and dishes from the Mediterranean region.

d² from Château de Beaupré is a rosé wine from the Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence appellation, made from Grenache, Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The winery is run entirely without chemical fertilizers and pesticides. The grapes are harvested at perfect maturity and fermented at thermoregulated temperature. The final wine is produced by mixing different cuvées from the saignée and the press wine technique.

Château de Beaupré ligger i St Cannat strax norr om staden Aix-en-Provence i södra Frankrike. Den vackra, mycket typiskt provençalska huvudbyggnaden restes redan år 1739. Egendomen ägs av familjen Double som köpte egndomen redan år 1854 och det är nu 4:e generationen som framställer vin. Familjen Double är ursprungligen en redarfamilj från Marseille och Château Beaupré användes på 1800-talet som rastplats när familjen åkte från Marseille till sin andra egendom i Luberon med häst och vagn. Idag framställs, rött, vitt och rosévin. Vinerna är ekologiskt odlade och Château Beaupré är idag officiell leverantör till den franske Presidentens Elysée-palats, där vinerna serveras vid receptioner.

Sommelier's advice

En klar ljus laxrosa färg. Doften är fruktig med inslag av tutti-frutti. Smaken är fyllig, rund och mjuk men med behagliga syror, aromer främst av röda små bär. Ett välgjort rosévin från Provence att servera till aperitif, exotiska rätter och rätter från medelhavsregionen.
