Amarone Santi is made of 75% Corvina- and 25% Rondinella grapes. A concentrated and complex wine with spicy hints of raisins and prunes. Goes well together with grilled red meats, game dishes or well-aged cheeses. Or try together with a rather neutral risotto!

Amarone from Santi is made from 75% Corvina- and 25% Rondinella grapes. The wine grows in pergola plantations in the municipalities of Negrar, Fumane and Marano in calcareous limestone soil and with exposure to the south. Some days before the big harvest,   5-15% of the best bunches are selected and harvested by hand. The grapes are then air dried for 3 months. The grapes are lightly cruched in January and a long traditional fermentation begins and the wine is regularly stirred. The wine is aged two years in oak barrels of various types. The final wine is assembled and may store an additional 6 months in the bottle.
