Mas Gabinèle – Péchaligous – Faugères – White Wine is made from a unique blend of 12 grey- and pink-skinned grape varieties, grown on a terroir of blue and ochre schist soils. The grape varieties include Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Gris, Muscat à Petits Grains Rose, Piquepoul Gris, Savagnin Rose, Clairette Rose, Trousseau Gris, Grolleau Gris, Mauzac Rose, Riveyrenc Gris, and Grenache Gris. The harvest is done manually.
Direct pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation. 75% of the wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks, while the remaining portion is fermented in new oak barrels. The wine is aged on fine lees for six months.
