“Reflets de l’Ame” is a powerful red wine made from Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah grapes. The wine has aromas of red currant and ripe fruit in general with a full-bodied smooth taste. Goes perfectly well with a Tagine.

Presentation vineyard

Fontaine du Clos is located in Sarrians slightly north of Avignon. Jean-François Barnier, who along with his wife Cécile created the vineyard, is both gardener and winegrower, which has its advantages when working with live vines. Not less than 52 different grape varieties grow here, primarily for the production of Vacqueras wines. However, Côtes-du-Rhône wines are produced as well and so is also a whole range of very good IGP wines.

Sommelier's advice

An elegant purple color. Complex and intense aromas of fresh berries, especially red currant, but also other ripe fruits. Some animal elements and notes of cocoa. Well constructed in the taste, a good fullness and length in the final. To be drunk to a tagine or other exotic foods. To recommend even to meat dishes in sauce.

Fontaine du Clos – Vacqueyras – “Reflets de l’Ame” – Red wine is made of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes. The vines grow in calcareous soil that is completely covered with pebbles. The dry climate provides grapes with high concentration and with some minerality. These factors are well tracing the character of the final wine.
