Domaine de Carteyron – Malyse – Rosé wine is made from Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, and a little Rolle and Tibouren. The proximity to the sea provides the freshness required for a slow and gradual ripening of the hand-picked berries. The grapes are harvested at night by hand in the light of floodlights. The grapes arrive in the cellar and are pressed immediately. The must from the first pressing is clarified and allowed to ferment. The wine is then aged on its lees in stainless steel barrels to give the wine aromas and a beautiful structure.
