“Les Quarterons” is an organically grown red wine made from 100% Cabernet Franc grapes from vines growing in a sandy soil typical of the region. The grapes are hand-picked and the vinification is “natural” with natural, non-added yeast and carried out in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures (15-17 °C) to preserve the lovely fruit aromas. Aging takes place in stainless steel tanks on fine lees for 12 months. Micro-oxygenation refines the tannins and eliminates fermentation aromas, revealing fruitier flavors. Finally, in the bottle, its bouquet develops and is fully expressed.
