Cusumano - Angimbé - White
Angimbé from Cusumano is made from 70% Insolia- and 30% Chardonnay grapes. The Chardonnay is harvested by hand in August and the Insolia grapes, also by hand, in September. The grapes are then cool macerated with the skin for 12 hours at 8 ° C temperature. The fermentation takes place at 18-20 ° C and the wine is then stored in steel tanks on its lees for 4 months. The finalized wine is then bottled and stored again some time.

Presentation of the vineyard
The two brothers Alberto and Diego Cusumano took over the family estate from their father in 2001. Along with the enologist Mario Ronco, they began to cultivate wine with innovation and modernization but without for that sake forget the Sicilian history and wine tradition. The project has been very successful and has managed to charm a whole world of wine buffs with the Sicilian wine tradition. Today, Cusumano represents not less than 400 hectares of vineyards all over Sicily. 2 types of wines are produced; one single varietal range; Merlot, Nero d'Avola, Syrah ... and one more traditional and territorial range.
A bright straw yellow color. Floral aromatic touches of orange flowers, but also of citrus, honey and exotic fruits - especially pineapples. The palate is soft and round with a certain fat texture.Slight hints of citrus which counterbalance. A wine to serve together with grilled fish or other dishes from the Mediterranean region.
