Presentation of the vineyard

Terre del Principato was founded by the La Marca family, a Neapolitan wienmaker family. Michele and later his son Giovanni, have created the winery and it's the son Giovanni who created the name Terre Del Principo that refers to the Principato Ultra province, which was part of the Neapolitan kingdom in the 1200s. The vineyard is today situated in Parolise, right in the heart of the Irpinia wine district.

Sommelier's advice

An intense ruby red color with orange hues. The nose is complex with a mixture of red fruits, floral hints of roses and violets as well as spicy notes of cocoa and black pepper. A warm and soft palate with present tannins. Mainly hints of red berries, cherries and licorice. To serve lightly chilled with grilled meat or a meat stew.
