Tenuta Olim Bauda Moscato d'Asti "Centive"DOCG 2016 - White
Olim Baudas Moscato d'Asti "Centive" is a sweet, aromatic sparkling wine made from 100% Moscato grapes. "Centive" is the name of the vineyard where the grapes grow in Fontanile. The harvest takes place the second week of September and the newly pressed grapes are left with the peel a few hours before being separated from the juice. The fermentation then takes place in steel tanks. The wine is bottled in November, two months after the harvest and the sales starts at the end of the same month. Like many of the sparkling wines from Piedmont, Moscato d'Asti has a low alcohol content and is perfect at the end a dinner along with the dessert.

In the beginning, wines made primarily made from Freisa and moscato grapes, but then more and more from Barbera grapes. The typicality of the Bertolino family is to espouse tradition which is expressed through the winemaking. Even today are Olim Bauda produces wines from the classic Piedmontese grape varieties such as Grignolino.
Straw yellow color with an elegant string of small bubbles rising up from the glass. An intense bouquet of yellow apples, pineapples and honey. A fresh taste since the sweetness and acidity are well balanced. The carbonation gives an elegant and creamy feel on the tongue. Good aromatic length of the flavor.
