"Campo del pero" is made of 100% Dolcetto grapes. The grapes are grown on an area corresponding to 0.38 hectares of land, at 460 meters altitude, exposed in the west-southwest direction. The vines are trained according to the Guyot method.

Presentation of the vineyard
Azienda Mario Giribaldi was founded in the early 1900s and it's now the 3rd generation running the family business. Respect for tradition and pride of today representing what the previous generations have created, are the values ??that lie at the winery near the heart. The establishment is located in the heart of the Langhe region in Piedmont. The farming is ecologically active since 1998 and covers areas in several municipalities; Diano d'Alba, Montelupo Albese, La Morra, Alba and Novello. The vineyards are mixed with hazelnut crops along the road from Alba towards Rodello at 500 meters altitude. The winery produce most of Piedmont's typical types of wines - both red and white - with Barolo and Barbaresco representing the most premium wines. The wines of Mario Giribaldi are regularly praised in international wine guides.
An intense ruby red color with violet hues. The nose is "viny" with elements of violet that produce hints of ripe fruit such as cherry and blackberries. Concentrated and structured taste with soft fruity elements of raspberry and blueberry. A versatile Dolcetto to pair with most dishes, from an aperitif with cured meat to a richer meal with red meat.
