Domaine de la Giscle "Moulin de l'Isle" - Rosé

"Moulin de l'Isle" in rosé is a bright salmonpink colored rosé wine made from not less than Cinsault-, Syrah-, Grenache-, a few drops of Rolle (Vermentino) and Mourvèdre. The result is amazing with subtle aromas and a balance that very few rosé wines can offer.

Presentation of the vineyard

Domaine de la Giscle is a winery located in Cogolin, 4 km from St Tropez in southeastern France. Domaine de la Giscle is since several generations run by the family AUDEMARD and today it's Pierre who operates and develops the vineyard's 30 hectares of land, but it is Madame AUDEMARD, Pierre's mother, who every day receives thirsty customers who found their way here to buy excellent wine. A large number of grape varieties are cultivated here and Domaine de la Giscle can offer both white, red and rosé wines with a lot of personality and of high quality. The vineyard produces mainly AOP Côtes de Provence wines.

Sommelier's advice

Beautiful light pink color pulling towards salmon-colored tints. A complex nose of white flowers (honeysuckle and jasmine) and red fruit (raspberry and red currant). A well-balanced fruity taste with much finesse and with a hint of peach and cherry. To drink as an aperitif, to lighter cold starters and fish dishes of various kinds. Accompanies as well a barbecue very well.
