Château Thuerry - Le Chateau - Blanc
The white "Le Chateau" is produced from Sémillon, Ugni Blanc and Rolle grapes. The grapes are cool macerated for 18-24 hours after the harvest. The fermentation then takes place in steel tanks at low temperature. The finished wine is matured, lying on its lees for 5 months.

Presentation of the vineyard
Thuerry Chateau is located in the inner parts of the Var department in the village of Villecroze. The vineyard represent 300 hectars of land in the middle of the Provençal forest. Jean-Louis Croquet, former head of the market study and opinion firm Sofres, bought the vineyard 1997. The vineyard is regularly visited by Francis Ford Coppola who besides the filmmaking is also wine grower in California. Everything is explainable; Jean-Louis' son, Thomas Mars is namely married to Sofia Coppola, Francis Ford's daughter.
A light straw yellow color with silvery hues. Aromas of citrus and ripe white fruits. A dry, yet rich flavor, a certain liveliness. A wine suitable for aperitif, with seafood or various fish dishes.
