Presentation of the vineyard

Château Dalmeran is part of the small South French appellation called les Baux-de-Provence. The castle building is located just north of the Baux-de-Provence village, in the northern part of les Alpilles and dates back to the 16th century. The property dominates the Provencal nature which consists of a mix of forest, vineyards and olive plantations. 10 hectares of wine is grown according to rules for organic farming and only 35 hl of wine is extracted per hectare of land. The harvest is done by hand with manual thinning.

Sommelier's advice

A dark pomegranate color with a beautiful shine. The nose is dominated by red berries, mainly cherry and plum, but also with spicy elements of kirsch. Certain presence of liquorice. A fruity and full-bodied taste of mature grapes. Soft tannins that give way to spicy tones of rosemary and Provencal undergrowth. A long final with freshness and some minerality.
