Presentation of the vineyard

Ollieux Romanis is located about 10 km from Narbonne in the wine district of Corbières, in the heart of Languedoc. The estate dates back to the Roman times, but wine was first cultivated only in the 1800s. Even today a part of the wine is actually produced from the vines of that time. The Carignan grape takes an important place in production with its 60 hectares of vines with the respectable ages of between 50 and 110 years. Today, it is family Jacqueline and François Bories who owns the winery and produces charming wines made with outstanding professionalism and serious work.

Sommelier's advice

Dark red color with violet tint. Fresh aroma with slight hints of milk products. A light and well balanced red wine made from equal parts of Carignan, Merlot, Syrah and Grenache, without pretention but with a charm that fits perfectly well as a "chatwine", to a  summer barbecue or to a cheese plate.
