Presentation of the vineyard
With Volnay located to the north and Meursault to the south, Eric Boussey's vineyard is located in Monthélie, right in the middle of the great Burgundy district. The Eric Boussey family is winegrower since several generations, but the winery itself was created in 1981. Both the white and the red wines are stored in oak barrels for 1 to 1½ years before being bottled. The wines are easily filtered to maintain their typical character. The vineyards are based in Monthélie, but Eric produces several different wines from well-known appellations in the neighborhood.
A beautiful bright red color with shades of raspberry. Typical Pinot noir aromas reminding of fruit and red berries. An elegant taste, well balanced and highly aromatic. Excellent with wild game or a steak in creamy sauce.
