Presentation of the vineyard

Pommery is one of the major champagne houses and was initially created by Narcisse Greno in 1836. 1857, 20 years later, Mr Pommery quit the crising woolindustry to instead join Mr. Greno's champagne production. Mr Pommery died already the following year and it is actually his widow, Louise Pommery, who laid the foundation for the champagne house's future success. After a few turbulent years in the millenaire shift, Pommery is since 2002 the premium champagne brand within the group Vranken Monopole.

Sommelier's advice

Straw yellow color with amber hues. A crisp and fresh fragrance with hints of apple. The palate is warm and fruity, with hints of ripe candied fruit, and slightly spicy hints of gingerbread.
