Presentation of the vineyard

The story of the Henriot family dates back to 1640 when the family moved to Champagne from Lorraine in northeastern France. But it was not until 1808 that winery was created by Apolline Henriot, a lady with strong personality who succeeded in making success with her champagne in the royal courts around Europe. Year after year and generation after generation the Henriot have nurtured its reputation of producing quality champagne. The winery is still family owned and is often recognized as being one of the smaller "big champagne houses."

Sommelier's advice

A brilliant golden straw yellow color with light green hues. Abundant effervescence, regular, thin and elegant bubbles. The nose is precise and expressive with hints of citrus and yellow fruits. It then turns out to have more floral notes (elderberry) with hints of pastry (cake, toasted bread and almonds). The palate is full and powerful, with fruity aromas of cherries and candied plums. Tones of freshly baked bread, some spicy notes (vanilla). A round palate with volume released into the fresh notes of citrus.
