Presentation of the vineyard
The story of Besserat the Bellefon starts back in 1843 when the winery was created by Edmond Besserat in Aÿ. But it's only in 1920 when another Edmond marries Yvonne de Méric de Bellefon that the champagne house is given its current name, Besserat the Bellefon. Besserat the Bellefon is mainly known for having produced an innovative, light-sparkling and creamy champagne for the Parisian and exclusive restaurant "Samaritaine de Luxe"in the 30's,.
A bright yellow color with intense small bubbles. A floral scent with fruity hints of strawberries and honey. A fresh taste with good balance. The final is long.
