Presentation of the vineyard

Dampt is well known name in the Chablis district. There are several talented Dampt families and it can be of importance to know the first names of the winegrower in order to find the right one. Vignoble Dampt is run by the three brothers Eric, Emmanuel and Hervé Dampt whose parents and grandparents... have all been winegrowers. Each of the brothers has his own specific role in the process from the vine to the finalized bottle of wine. The wine growing is conducted in not less than 13 different villages in Chablis. Great emphasis is placed on respecting the soil (terroir). This results in different types of wines, depending on which field the wine comes from.

Sommelier's advice

A light golden color with green hues. Discreet aromas of cirtus fruits (lemon) and white flowers. A taste which balances between fresh elegance and power. A long tasty final. A fresh wine to drink with seafood or to a grilled monkfish.
