Presentation of the vineyard

Domaine Nudant is located in Ladoix in the middle of the Burgundy district known as "Côte de Beane", but it also has vineyards that stretches further north into the appellations of "Côte de Nuit". The vineyard has been in the family estate since the 1400s and 3 generations are today working together. André, who expanded and modernized the estate in the 50's, his son Jean-René who took over in 1978 and then the grandson Guillaume who entered the family business 25 years later. The vineyard consists of 16 hectares of land including 20 different labels from regional to 1er and Grands crus. The agriculture is carried out without chemical pesticides.

Sommelier's advice

Intense dark red color with garnet red hues. Flavour with great finesse, first of spices, undergrowth and mushrooms, followed by red fruits. Strong and "meaty" flavor, concentrated, very present tannins which will soften with 2 years of storage.. To be drunk to game or lamb dishes or to the cheese board.
