Presentation of the vineyard

Clos Saint Jacques is produced by Chateau Troquart, a small family estate of 5.5 hectares, located close to the village of Saint-Emilion. The winary is situated in favorable southwesterly direction on a limestone and clay "terroir". The vineyard is owned by Jean-Guy Grégoire, whose son Etienne is the person who is responsible for the wine production after finishing his vino-eonological studies. .

Sommelier's advice

A ruby red color with purple hues. Fragrance of blackberry and black currant. Also the palate has aromas of black berries. Present tannins which give structure, could be further rounded off by additional storage for one or two years . A typical Bordeaux wine to be drunk together with various dishes with red meat.
