Presentation of the vineyard

For more than six generations, the Lartigue family has been based in Listrac and Moulis. The central part of the property, which consists of 5 hectares, is located in a place called "Mayne de la lande" which means "the border", in the "outskirts of the wilderness" and that is where the family lives since 150 years. It was in 1975 that Bernard Lartigue took over the property. In true Medoc tradition, he has continued to safeguard the family's heritage. Perfectionism and accuracy is Bernard Lartigue's motto in a constant quest for excellence. The goal is to take advantage of the terroir's potential for developing a extarordinary wine with the possibility of long storage.

Sommelier's advice

A dark red beautiful brilliant color. The nose is intense, inviting and complex. The palate is round, powerful and full with easy-to-recognize signs of oak storage. Present tannins in a harmonious ending. To pair with all kinds of dishes of red meat.
