Presentation of the vineyard

Château Jany is a family property that represents 20 hectares of vineyards, of which 18 hectares are used to grow white grapes for dessert wines from the appellations of Sauternes and Barsac. The property is owned by the Turtaut family, who created the winery and has since 3 generations cultivated wine. The grandfather of the Turtaut family began his career at Château Yquem before the first own landmines were acquired.

Sommelier's advice

A golden yellow color with glittering shades. The nose has hints of citrus and dried fruit, mainly of apricot and mango. The palate is soft, round and full of fat and fruity elements. A delicious Sauternes to pair with goose liver, as an aperitif, to a blue cheese or to fruity desserts!
