Presentation of the vineyard

Château Bidonnet Laffitte is located in the town of Gabarnac, on the right bank of the Garonne River. It is a small family property owned by the Rudelin family who produced wine for more than five generations since 1741. The vineyards of 16 hectares of clay limestone soil, benefits from generous sunshine from the south. It produces about 800 hectoliters of wine a year. The vines have an average age of 15 years for the reds and 60 years for the whites. 3 different grape varieties are grown; Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
