Presentation of the vineyard
Château Acker Perreau is produced by Vignobles Acker, one of the oldest wine properties in the region, owned by Jean-Paul Acker. Château Acker-Perreau was created in 2010 and was formerly known as Château Perreau. Château Acker Perreau is located in the town of Arbis, in the Entre-Deux-Mer region, 109 meters above sea level and includes 37 hectares of land. The property that is in the best Bordeaux style, is a former addiction building to the Chateau Fort Benauge. "The terroir" is coarse clay and has been planted with 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon.
A dark ruby ??red color. The nose is refined and intense, mainly with hints of dark berries and raspberries. A bit spicy with very nice oak notes. The palate is elegant, with a fine balance; fruity with good tannins, freshness and a long final. To serve with a steak.
