Presentation of the vineyard
Domaine de la Chapelle des Bois has belonged to the Appert family since the early 1800s and was taken over by Chantal Appert and Eric Coudert in 1991. The vineyard includes 9 hectares of which 4 are "Fleurie Grand Pré". This is a winery that produces classic light and fruity Beaujolais wines but which in recent years also has begun to produce oak barrels stored and long aging wines.
Intense purple color. Mineral aromas with a base of red berries. The taste is fruity and reminds of of ripe cherries, well balanced with a long final. Ideal as an aperitif for enthusiasts, or together with a Caesar salad or a grilled chicken.
